Scrumptious Organic Cakes

Check out these organic scrumptious looking wedding cakes by Sarah Magid.

We love that her cakes don’t appear over styled and yet they have so many teeny tiny intricate details {a wonderful contradiction, we know}. The fact that they’re organic is also an added bonus.

Sarah’s book Organic and Chic is a kitchen must have. Within the book you’ll find organic cookies, cakes, and sweets that taste as decadent as they look.

Green Inspiration Board

We love the colour green and the concept of having a green wedding, so today we’ve decided to make up a green wedding inspiration board.

Here’s our top wedding tips for going green. Make your wedding invitations eco-friendly by using recycled paper or by using a paper alternative like e-invitations. Give environmentally friendly wedding favors to guests, such as plant or flower seeds. If your using a catering company make sure that they use biodegradable utensils, cups and plates. Also, consider using potted plants as centerpieces instead of cut flowers. Remember, there’s so many innovative ways to go green, and these are really just the tip of the iceberg.
