Here’s our list of the top super-foods you should indulge in, during the lead up to your wedding.


Blueberries are packed with antioxidants and phytoflavinoids. These berries are also high in potassium and vitamin C. Not only can they lower your risk of heart disease and cancer, they’re also anti-inflammatory.



Fish is packed with Omega 3s, which lowers heart disease risk, helps arthritis, helps with memory loss and Alzheimer. There is also evidence to show that it reduces depression.



Mango is high in antioxidant and iron, and low in carbohydrates. Mango is a rich source of vitamin A {beta-carotene}, E and Selenium. They can protect against heart disease, cancer, acidity, poor digestion, clogged skin pores and other ailments.



Broccoli’s noteworthy nutrients include vitamin C, vitamin A {mostly as beta-carotene}, folic acid, calcium and fiber. Beta-carotene and vitamin C are important antioxidants that have been linked to a reduced risk of cataracts, heart disease and several cancers.


Dark Chocolate

While chocolate isn’t completely indulgent-friendly, new research has shown that dark chocolate is packed with antioxidants and can lower blood pressure.

It’s recommended that you look for chocolate with 60% or higher cocoa content. The darker the chocolate, the better.


The effect that diet can have on how you feel today and in the future is astounding, so remember to indulge in the right types of foods.
