DIY for tea lovers

We came across this DIY heart-shaped tea bag project on Martha Stewart and was instantly inspired. It’s such a unexpected and clever way to say thank you to your guests or to your bridal party.

Simply cut two hearts out of red construction paper using a heart-shaped crafter’s hole punch or if your craft-talented you could even freestyle the heart cutting. Next, use a fancy pen to write a short message on one of the hearts. Last, snip off the original tea bag tag and in its place glue the two hearts back-to-back. Package 4 or 5 together and hey presto!

Hey! This is such a great idea and one that I just might employ for our wedding. We both looove tea and drink it loads each day so this would be perfect for us! How would you package this? I mean, those 4 to 5 bags? 🙂

  3. Marcela says:

Hi Maria, You could tie them with some pretty ribbon or package them in little favor boxes or bags. Take care!
