A Smog Shoppe Wedding {Erin + Brian}

We won’t lie, we’re drooling over these crazy gorgeous wedding pictures, captured by Skye Blu Photography.

The delightful couple, Erin and Brian, held their ceremony and reception at the trendy SmogShoppe, located in Los Angeles, USA.

The wedding was planned by Amber Events and the mastermind behind the floral designs was Holly Vesecky Flora.

We adore the unique venue, the colourful styling, and the bright decor of this wedding.

Congratulations Erin and Brian and thank you for sharing your wonderful wedding pictures.

Waterbrook Winery Wedding {Jodi + Benjamin}

These wedding photos captured by Melissa McFadden Photography are better than bacon and eggs on a Sunday morning.

The fabulous couple, Jodi and Benjamin, were married at Waterbrook Winery in Walla Walla, Washington. The couple chose a vineyard theme wedding, which they executed to perfection. They used purples and greens to accent the decor and attire, grapes in their centerpieces, grapevine napkin rings, and adorable wine wedding favors with engagement photo labels.

The stunning bride was kind enough to share a few details with us, which you’ll find after the charming wedding photos.

What made your wedding unique: “Location!  My family is from a small town in Iowa, and his family is from Seattle.  It was a nice neutral location for everyone, as well as our favorite place to go wine tasting!  The entire guest list was from out-of-town. We had people travel from all over the world including London and Amsterdam to the quaint little wine town of Walla Walla.  It was a great excuse to explore Washington wine country for many.”

Your biggest challenge: I think planning the wedding long distance was our biggest challenge.  We didn’t have any referrals or contacts for vendors.  Also, being an interior designer doesn’t help the situation. I am super detail oriented and kind of OCD.  I was so worried about all the little details that it took me a lot more time than I expected. I could have spent a lot of money on decorations too, but instead did a lot of DIY to save.”

Your favorite moment:My favorite moment was seeing Ben for the first time that day.  I was so overwhelmed with unexpected emotion that I was shaking and speechless. I get all choked up thinking about that moment, even today.”

Your advice: “Hire a videographer! The speeches, vows, readings and music are all memories that will quickly fade. We didn’t hire anyone, but our good family friends surprised us at Christmas with the video they had captured throughout the day.  It was the best gift we have ever received!”

Congratulations Jodi and Benjamin and thank you for sharing your gorgeous winery wedding photos.

Youngstown Country Club Wedding {Alex + Xan}

These wedding pictures are the photographic work of The Lovely Lens and are truly adorable.

The bride and groom, Alex and Xan, are two talented artists who fell in love while studying and now own a dance company together.

Their wedding was all about vintage nostalgia, dance, and timeless class. Xan wore her mother’s wedding dress and Alex wore an old-school tailcoat. The couple incorporated dance into their ceremony by having their company dancers provide the aisle side dance entertainment.

Their wedding was held at the Youngstown Country Club and included a super memorable ‘first dance’, which was collaboratively choreographed by Xan and Alex and titled ‘Man Plus Woman’. The piece was playfully filled with numerous references to past family romances and even including a reference to Xan’s grandparents first meeting in a revolving door. Melts your heart, doesn’t it.
