Get ready to enjoy a spread of woodland-inspired beauty, captured by Paul Douda Photography.
This shoot is all about magical weddings and mythological wood nymphs. A “nymph” is a mythological spirit of nature imagined as a beautiful maiden, which often inhabits the woods.
Ms. Spring of Designs by Spring designed the stunning shoot and explained, “I wanted to focus on a wedding with earthly magic. I choose the ‘wood nymph’ as my theme for their playful earthly focus, but also for its mystery and magic.”
The participating vendors brought the magical theme to life by using earthly products or mimicking them. They used birch and vines to make a wedding alter and wood benches to make the ceremony seats. Within the reception space the vendors used wood tables, wood benches, wood candles/vases, branch silverware, a moss runner, and wood slabs for chargers. They also used a charming moss swing with vines, shoes covered in leaves and flowers, and desserts centered around berries and apples.
We love how these vendors conveyed mystery and earthly magic through savvy styling, dramatic makeup, over-the-top hair, stunning floral arrangements and fun touches like dry ice in the drinks.
Congratulations to all the talented vendors.
