Here are the first things that came to mind when we saw this anniversary shoot – quirky, inspiring, and wonderfully original!
Hilary of Hilary Cam Photography captured the shoot in the Blue Mountains at the location where Chrissie and Greg wed. Hilary explained how the concept for the shoot came about.
“The bride herself is a fashion photographer and loves to photograph the unusual, so for her own photos she needed a theme that was well and truly out of the ordinary. When it comes to unique, I think the photos speak for themselves.
Chrissie is a vegetarian and is a big animal rights activate, so the hunting is symbolic of their relationship, not as an activity they take part in.
In this series Greg starts out a free man (a buck), who is hunted down by his beautiful bride! After he has been stunned and captured he is transformed with a kiss into a dashing groom.”
Photographer advice?
“Have fun and be creative, when Chrissie’s family first heard about the buck-hunting theme they first thought the photos would be too violent. When they saw how fun loving and cheeky they are they couldn’t stop laughing and just love the idea and the photos.”
We love everything about this wedding inspiration shoot from the concept to the stunning vintage wedding dress that was made by Chrissie’s grandmother and worn both on Chrissie’s mothers wedding day and Chrissie’s wedding day.
