Ink + Wit 29.11.2011

All the stuff on Ink + Wit is so adorable they make us want to squeal with delight!

Tara Hogan, the brains behind Ink + Wit, is passionate about creating elegant yet simple and organic designs. Her illustrative designs are only enriched by her many years of experience in graphic design and inspired by her practice of yoga. A graduate of Syracuse University’s School of the Visual and Performing Arts, she has worked many years as an in-house graphic designer. And then one day, she suddenly found herself doing a solo show with Ink + Wit, which got the attention of many future clients.

Today, Tara works closely with her clients with positive creative communication. And just look at her designs…so stunning are the wedding paper invitations, the rubber stamps (these would be great for wedding stationery or for use in your wedding décor), and possible wedding favors.

Can wedding invitations be vintage and modern at the same time? “Yes, they can!” says Reginald, the designer behind Sunshine Greeting Cards Co.

These bright and cheerful wedding invitations are so pretty, and are available in digital files you can print yourself or as cards ready for giving away. Some designs can also be printed as magnets, postcards, bookmarks, and even calendar cards. Rise and Shine Wedding Invitations 25.10.2011

Aaah, vintage… Crisp, deep impression printed on thick, juicy card stock—you can’t get any more vintage than that!

Rise and Shine letterpress wedding invitations offer not just fine paper and the utmost attention to detail, but out-of-the-box ideas and non-traditional techniques. Rise and Shine is the perfect way to go if you’re tired of all the glossy and mass-produced wedding invitations out there.

And the story of how it all started for them is quite fascinating. In 2006, Leslie Graham, who graduated from Philadelphia University with a BS in Graphic Design Communications, was given a letterpress birthday card by her sister. She then showed it to Ryan Howell, an Advertising and Public Relations graduate of Rowan University. From there, their adventure began.

They bought a 1912 letterpress machine they found online and operated the business from a studio space in Philadelphia. Eventually, as the company grew, they had to move to a bigger space in Louisiana, Leslie’s hometown. Today, they work with designers, marketers, manufacturers, retailers, ad agencies, and creative people from everywhere.

Here are some of Rise and Shine’s fantastic wedding invitations…
