Mira Zwillinger Bridal Collection 05.01.2015

Daria-Wedding-Dress

Talented Mira and her daughter, Lihi, are the women behind the gorgeous wedding dresses available at Mira Zwillinger.

Their approach to bridal design celebrates chic elegance; timeless glamour and supreme craftsmanship and undeniably their creativity has helped them create some of the most unique wedding dresses we’ve ever seen.

Using the finest fabrics and materials sourced from Milan and Paris, they create eye-catching couture collections. We’re especially fond of their delicate use of the finest hand embroidery and ornate beading from Italy, as well as their abundant use of lace, chiffon, taffeta, silk crepe and brocade. What’s more, all dresses are meticulously handmade and are expertly cut from an individually crafted pattern, then sewn with love.

Here are a few of our favourite wedding dresses from the Mira Zwillinger 2014-2015 bridal collection, which was inspired by snowflakes. Mira explains, “Our dresses are each handmade creations with a delicate touch that like a snowflake, no two are the same. In each wedding dress lies its own story, unique to the world.”

Reformation Eco-Wedding Collection 15.12.2014

Reformation-Wedding-Collection

It felt like all of our dreams came true when we found out that eco-fashion brand Reformation launched their first-ever bridal collection.

If you’re unfamiliar with Reformation, here’s a little background: They’re an environmentally sustainable fashion brand that re-purposes vintage and surplus materials to create chic limited edition collections. This super cool brand is totally changing the way people think about fashion by showing that fashion can be green without sacrificing any element of design. Celebrity fans include Rihanna, Karlie Kloss, Taylor Swift, Michelle Williams, Jessica Alba and Rosie Huntington-Whitely to name a few.

The Reformation team tells us, “Our girls have been asking us for bridesmaid and wedding dresses since day one so we’re finally bringing them a killer Wedding Collection. We wanted to make a collection that girls could wear again and to all different occasions. Basically just dresses they’ll actually want to wear. We tweaked some of our best shapes and carefully picked the best fabrics to make, well, the best dresses. It’s bridal for babes. The best part is it also sticks to our affordable and sustainable practices, so girls can get into these guilt-free.”

Their current wedding collection is called “Our Second Wedding Collection” and consists of dresses you’ll actually want to wear more than once in your life.

Something Kinda Cute 01.12.2014

Shell and Craig Lewis have a thing for wedding stationary, especially vintage and super cute wedding stationary.

Shell started out designing vintage and quirky wedding invites and event stationery for friends and family as a bit of a hobby and then realized that designing wedding stationery was something she really loved. Her realization is what led to the birth of Something Kinda Cute.

Something Kinda Cute currently has an adorable Off The Peg collection, which can be customised with your choice of colours and wording. What’s more, all of the Off The Peg themes can be applied to any wedding stationary you require – think favour tags, table numbers, thank you cards.
