The Vintage Bow Tie 26.11.2012

You know what’s always been hard to find? Fancy vintage bow ties.

Good news. Things are changing, thanks to a few bow-tie loving individuals.

One of those individuals is Necks Tuesday, which makes bow ties that look deceptively Vintage although not authentically so. These bow ties are made in New York with each design only released in limited quantities. We love the exclusivity of it all!

Here are a few of our favourites from Necks Tuesday

Cheery Wedding Stamps 22.11.2012

Rubber stamps. I’m sure that for some, a rubber stamp reminds them of business. But for us, a rubber stamp reminds us of cheery wedding art.

That’s why we desperately want some of these Ann Marie Loves Paper stamps. They’re simply perfect for stamping all sorts of wedding stationery pieces.

The designer behind these stamps is Ann Marie, a self-confessed lover of paper. She says, “You could even say that I’ve built my life around it. When I’m not working at my dream job as a scrap booker/graphic designer, I am journaling, list-making, organizing, hoarding, crafting, and scrapbooking some more with – you guessed it – paper.”

This love of paper has manifested into a love of stamps.

Here are some of her lovely creations. She can also make custom stamps.

Grace Loves Lace 04.09.2012

Grace Loves Lace and so do we.

What’s not to love? Lace is beautifully delicate and when added to wedding dresses looks phenomenal.

Grace Loves Lace creates intricate and phenomenal wedding dresses by personally creating ready-to-wear gowns from the finest French laces and silks.

The collection takes inspiration from the free-spirit of the Bohemian era combined with the nostalgic charm of Vintage elegance.

The owner of Grace Loves Lace explains how the concept for the store came about, “As a bride myself recently I found it impossible to find a dress that I loved. I grew bored and frustrated at seeing old-fashioned, structured and restrictive dresses that I would not feel comfortable in or look like ‘me’. Having worked in high-end fashion I could also spot the excessive price mark-ups on even the [simplest] gowns. All I really wanted was a beautiful unique dress that had character and charm that would make me feel and look my best – and not over-priced. With all this in mind, the concept of Grace Loves Lace was born.”

Here are our favourites from the most recent Grace Loves Lace wedding dress collection.
