DIY Wedding Placemats 24.10.2012

Searching around for fun handmade wedding inspiration? Settle in, you’ve found it!

Vanessa of Vanessa Janss Photography came up with this delightful DIY woodblock chevron placemat tutorial.

Vanessa comments, “Woodblock printing is not nearly as difficult as it sounds – in fact, it’s something you can do almost entirely with materials from the recycling bin! Reduce, reuse, and recycle at its best.”

In this tutorial Vanessa used an old sheet, some leftover house paint, leftover decking, and some standard cardboard boxes. Good one Vanessa, these placemats will look brilliant at a backyard or rustic wedding.

DIY Boho Foot Jewellery 19.09.2012

Summer is approaching and so are beach weddings and bare feet.

If you’re planning a beach wedding, we think the perfect way to beautify your bare feet is with comfy and pretty foot jewellery.

Today Vanessa Janss of Vanessa Janss Photography shows us how to make super cute and versatile bohemian foot jewellery.

Vanessa explains, “There are so many different ways you could take this DIY – my favorite would be to take anything you can find around the house or at the beach and incorporate it into a natural bohemian look covered in mismatching beads, silver, feathers, bells, shells, natural fibers – the choices are infinite!”
