Holy Jackpot, today we found the most precious DIY save-the-date magnets. These babies will ensure ALL guests remember your wedding date, because the date will be stuck on their fridge. And last time we checked, people need to eat! Instructions after the jump.
Step 1: Cut felt {2 layers at a time} in the shape of a heart or whatever shape you prefer i.e. flower.
Step 2: Cut a ribbon and stamp on your wedding date or alternatively write the date onto the ribbon.
Step 3: Place a small adhesive magnet on the center of the bottom heart layer. Then place the dated ribbon on one side of the heart, so that the ribbon is poking out.
Step 4: Place the second layer over the bottom and begin hand stitching the heart together using embroidery thread. Be sure to stitch through the ribbon to hold it into place.
And there you have it, adorable save-the-date magnets!
