Isn’t this Victoria wedding a dreamy delight, filled with soft pinks and whites?
Gorgeous couple Steph and Ben wed at the Grand Pacific Hotel in Lorne. For those of you that don’t know, Lorne is a sparkling jewel situated along the Great Ocean Road in Victoria Australia.
The bride wore a Pronovias wedding dress, purchased at Raffaele Ciuca.
“For the flowers, it was a combination of soft pinks and white. The bridesmaids were in a deep charcoal. All stationary was charcoal, and a deep crimson pink/red, and white,” says Steph.
“We DIY’d the place cards, and the trimmings on the jars/vases (not too much detail there). The decorating was very simple, so not much needed to be done. The bride’s mum made the sensational mini Florentines!”
The couple’s biggest challenge ended up being their first dance. Steph explained, “The dance, which we subsequently mucked up early on! I didn’t quite think through the fact that a full dress would make doing the rumba quite so tricky!”
What made your wedding unique?
“The fact that we had the wedding at such a special place. Lorne holds a very dear spot in our hearts, so it was very fitting to have such a special day there.”
What was your favorite moment?
“It’s impossible to pick one. There were so many special moments from the moment we woke up on the day. The ceremony was very special, as were the speeches by our family and friends. Actually getting married topped the charts!”
What’s your advice?
“Don’t make planning a wedding any more stressful that it needs to be (just think of it as a big party!). I highly recommend going by referrals that people you trust have given you.”
