This wedding makes our happy wheels start turning, not only because this wedding is gorgeous, but also because the lovely bride is a cancer survivor.
Kelsie and Andrew wed at Mabery Gelvin Botanical Gardens in Mahomet, Illinois, United States.
The couple chose to have a backyard vintage wedding filled with handmade details. Kelsie explains, “As a cancer survivor planning my wedding was literally a dream come true. Andrew and I met in college and loved planning our backyard vintage wedding. My mum helped make the floral arrangements and cake. My sister and I made all the details and buntings at the reception. Our DIY wedding had an approximate budget of $7000.”
“I wore my grandmother’s necklace and she placed it on me before the ceremony. I also have a twin brother who was a part of my bridal party. We gave him the official title of “bridestwin” and it was so much fun getting pictures with my girls and my twin,” says Kelsie.
Congratulations Kelsie and Andrew, we love your gorgeous wedding photos.
