Independence Day

We love patriotism and how Americans go all out with their 4th of July festivities.

Even though as Australians we don’t partake in the celebrations, this little matter doesn’t stop us from admiring all the pretty patriotic picnics, parades, concerts, fireworks and flag flying.

Here’s one 4th of July styled shoot we’re especially digging. Rita Quinn of Knots and Tots Photography captured this 4th of July Texas Bridal shoot and explained, “Our team of vendors wanted to do something whimsical and vintage for the 4th of July holiday. We decided on a 50s inspired outdoor backyard BBQ wedding theme complete with a beautiful Justin Alexander Tea Length gown, red-white-blue colours and handmade paper lanterns. The dessert bar featured multiple 4th of July themed sweets on a backdrop of antique vintage design elements. And one of the special guests was the farm’s goat who decided to be part of the shoot.”
