Oh The Dreaded Weight Issue

The wedding date is quickly approaching and you’ve decided it’s time to shed some excess weight. Below is our list of the top 10 healthy weight loss tips.


1. Drink plenty of water. At least 8-10 glasses of water each day, as this will help flush your body of impurities and fat and will kick-start your metabolism. You can substitute a few glasses of water for herbal or green tea.

2. Break up your meals into 5 or 6 smaller ones, as this will help speed up your metabolism and keep you feeling full.

3. Snack on delicious fruits and vegetables. They’ll fill you up and keep you from reaching for unhealthy foods.

4. Decrease your fat intake.

5. Exercise for at least 30 minutes each day. You can go for a walk or dance around your living room. Whatever, just get physical.

6. Avoid processed foods.

7. Don’t eat that late night snack, as the majority of those calories will be unused and turn into fat. Try not to eat for at least 2 hours before going to sleep.

8. Increase your fiber intake. We suggest eating yummy and filling porridge.

9. Cleanse and detoxify. This means you’ll have to limit your alcohol intake.

10. Everything in moderation, remember it’s okay to indulge every now and then. If you really want fries and a hamburger, EAT IT. It’s better to indulge a little, than to binge later.

Remember to always focus on your health and inches, opposed to the weight on the scale.
