These engagement photos, captured by Life In Images Photography, are too adorable not to share. The engagement session took place at Powerhouse and New Farm Park in Brisbane {Australia} and was all about simplicity, big heart balloons, the Brisbane scenery, and the loved up couple.
The bride-to-be, Melinda, was kind enough to share a few details with us which you’ll find after the super sweet engagement photos. Sometimes simplicity is best.
Tell us about your engagement story? We’ve been engaged for a while. We met when we were both doing volunteer work with young, disadvantaged children. As soon as we met we knew that we wanted to spend our lives together. In the early days, we lived about 1.5 hours drive from each other, but we did not let that stop us. We promised each other that we would ‘figure it out’, and that’s what we have been doing ever since. Thankfully though, we now live together (and drive less)!
Unique details? The photos were taken at the Brisbane Powerhouse and nearby New Farm Park. The area is both old and new alike. The Powerhouse is one of Brisbane’s oldest buildings, but it has been revamped to support plenty of fresh new life, particularly in regards to flora and culture (the Powerhouse has been converted into a playhouse in recent years). We think the area is beautiful!
Congratulations Melinda and Chris and I hope your April wedding is all that you wish for! Plus, a massive thank you Life In Images Photography for sharing these super cute engagement photos.
Thanks so much for the feature!
