Rustic

Jimbo’s Club at the Point {Jaclyn + Kevin} 26.03.2012

There’s something slightly offbeat and ‘rock n roll’ about this couple and their wedding, which is totally endearing and lovable.

This lovable pair has known each other since they were children. Their parents were friends; they played together and even dated at one point. But as they grew up, things changed and their relationship developed. They went from like to love.

Jaclyn and Kevin sealed the deal by exchanging vows at Jimbo’s Club at the Point in Brant Lake, New York, United States. They chose Jimbo’s Club at the Point because it’s a gorgeous rustic lodge in the Adirondacks, which could accommodate friends and family for the weekend.

Jaclyn knew she didn’t want a puffy traditional gown. Instead she chose a sophisticated halter-neck lace number.

Jaclyn had four bridesmaids, which were her sisters. They wore Ann Taylor off the rack black dresses with belts the girls handmade.

Casey Connell Photography captured the day and commented, “Jaclyn and Kevin wanted to make sure their day reflected them and their more modern, edgy sensibility and they managed to combine an Adirondack aesthetic with ‘rock n roll’ attitude seamlessly.”

The Lodge Wedding {Tiffany + Jimmy} 13.02.2012

We’re craving a low-key, classic wedding and this one certainly hits the spot.

Tiffany and Jimmy wed at Boyds Presbyterian Church followed by their reception at The Lodge at Little Seneca Creek in Maryland, United States. They chose a vintage theme and incorporated lots of lovely antique details like lace, baby’s breath, and antique bottles that perfectly matched the rustic venue.

We adore this wedding for so many reasons – the adorable couple, the $100 vintage tea-length lace wedding dress, the chic Suzi Chin Maggy Boutique reception dress that the bride changed into, the cute reception headpiece by BHLDN, and that retro powder blue VW bug getaway car.

French Provence Countryside Wedding {Alexandra + Brian} 06.02.2012

We’re completely captivated by this stunning wedding, which seems to have it all – romance, perfect styling and gorgeous scenery.

Alexandra and Brian actually live in Venice, California but decided to plan a destination wedding in Austin, Texas. The stunning couple also chose to have a French Provence Countryside feel to their wedding, which we’re completely lusting over.

Here’s what we’re loving about their French Provence Countryside theme – the wildflowers, the barrels, the burlap grain sacks, the wood lanterns, the fresh lavender shades, the tablescapes, the fruit centerpieces, and the paper cones filled with flower seeds.

We also can’t help but love the adorable honorary flower girl and the story behind her significance. The couple originally met at a party in California, where Alexandra learned that Brian had a dog-named ‘Shea’. Alexandra wanted an excuse to see Brian again, so she offered to babysit ‘Shea’ on his next business trip. Brian accepted and the rest was history. So ‘Shea’ came to hold a very special place in their hearts, so much so, that ‘Shea’ was made honorary flower girl.
