Waters Edge Estate Wedding {Clare + Luke} 23.05.2013

A beautiful wedding location may just be our absolute favourite thing. And Perth, we think you make one heck of a wedding backdrop!

It seems that Clare and Luke agree. They chose to tie the knot in the Scented Gardens, which was followed by their wedding reception at the beautiful Waters Edge Estate in Perth, Australia.

We love the reception venue, the mesmerizing scenery, the bride’s veil, and the blue one-shoulder bridesmaid dresses.

Chic Home-Style Wedding {Rhiana + Tray} 16.05.2013

It’s with extreme foot-jittering delight that we share these pretty wedding pictures.

Stunning couple, Rhiana and Brian, chose to have a church wedding followed by a backyard picnic style reception. They held their charming reception in their friend’s backyard in Elizabeth City, North Carolina, United States.

The couple chose a wickedly cool Blue and Red colour scheme, as well as the world’s most adorable wedding cake, which they surrounded with strawberries and scrumptious looking pies.

The fabulous girls from Celebrations were responsible for the adorable table arrangements and floral designs.

Melissa Stallings Photography captured the day and remarked, “I had entirely too much fun getting to know this couple, from their County Fair engagement session to their laid back, home-style wedding. They made my job so incredibly enjoyable and I’m thankful to have had the opportunity to document their day.”

Congratulations Rhiana and Tray and thank you for sharing your wedding photos. Here’s a big call: This wedding is a new favourite for us.

Origami Wedding {Erin + Travis} 13.05.2013

You don’t need to adjust your computer screens, but you will need to pop on a pair of anti-dazzle visors before you take a peek at these wedding pictures.

Erin and Travis picked a fun origami and bright colours theme for their Colorado wedding held at Stone Mountain Lodge.

The couple chose the unusual wedding theme because when Travis proposed to Erin he used origami and Japanese tradition. There’s an ancient Japanese legend that promises if you fold a thousand paper cranes you will be granted a wish upon folding the last one.

Travis spent six months folding paper cranes and when he reached his final one, he wished for Erin to marry him. He proposed to her and she said “yes”. Together they then folded an additional three hundred paper cranes for their wedding decor. Crafty Erin also folded origami for the bouquets.

Dylan of Aventura Photo Video was on hand to capture the day and commented, “This was one of my favourite weddings ever. Erin painstakingly detailed her wedding so beautifully.”

We’re over-the-moon for this happy couple. Congratulations.
