No one has the same fingerprints….so you can’t get more unique then fingerprint wedding rings {Pretty cool, hey!}. These fab matching wedding bands are from Fabuluster and can be custom made to feature a fingerprint on the inside or the outside of a wedding ring.

Your fingerprint on his wedding ring, his fingerprint on your wedding ring, or any combination you can think of {so sentimental and cute}. Check them out, they also make necklaces and pet impressions!

Simply divine jewelry by Laurie Sarah. Laurie designs some of the most unique modern engagement rings I have seen to date and I love the fact that the majority of her pieces are customized hand made pieces.

Her designs are exceptionally well priced for what you get! My personal favorite is the Moissanite ring with sapphire halo and white diamond halo {Laurie can also change the center stone for a diamond}. Amazing!

Sapphire love…

Wednesday, March 31st, 2010

If you think engagement rings must always contain diamonds, think again! Why not go for something a little different and ultra unique, such as a sapphire engagement ring.

An engagement ring acts as a symbol. The ring itself is meant to symbolize something beautiful and precious. Just like the love the couple share. It doesn’t have to cost an arm and a leg and it certainly doesn’t have to be a diamond ring. It simply has to show thoughtfulness and appropriate symbolism for the particular couple. For instance, consider the royal family and their selection of engagement rings. The Queen Mother, Queen Elizabeth, Princess Anne and Princess Diana all received sapphire engagement rings.

You can go for a natural white sapphire, which offers the same classic engagement ring look, but at an affordable price.

Or you could opt for a natural yellow sapphire engagement ring, which has become a popular choice due to how closely the sapphire resembles a canary diamond.

On the scout for the perfect engagement ring? Well, your scout wont be complete until you check out diamond engagement rings with halos. I love how versatile the halo setting can be. It can be traditional, modern, vintage inspired, unconventional, and the list goes on. The halo setting also has the added advantage of making ones stone look substantially larger {no complaints here}.
