Engagement Photos

Hi Friends, we {Marcela and Michael} recently did our engagement shoot and the photos below are the result. Yes that’s yours truly frolicking in the park!

Our engagement shoot was held in a gorgeous park in Nundah, Brisbane Australia and was photographed by the talented team that is Jess and Steve of Jess Marks Photography.

The theme behind the engagement shoot was “you’re the apple of my eye” and was styled by mwa.

We had a total blast doing this mock picnic; especially with our 500 props! Go us!

Chess Hong Kong style! This antique chess set was actually purchased in Hong Kong by Michael’s mother, some 30 years ago when she lived there. Being that we now live in Hong Kong, it certainly seemed fitting for us to use the chess set during our engagement picnic.

Engagement photography…

Want your future hubby to always remember your wedding anniversary? Here’s the solution:  have an engagement shoot where you both clearly display the wedding date with big red numbers, then hang the pictures all around the house and guess what…your sorted!  Love this engagement shoot by Steven Micheal Photography…very nice.

I’m enamored with this super cool mural philadelphia engagement photo shoot, which was photographed by the talented Amanda of Love Me Do Photography {located in Philadelphia}.

These sublime murals are part of a series of murals called Love Letters, located in West Philadelphia and this work is seriously a must see. The couple, Ben and Katherine, could not have picked a better backdrop for their engagement photos. This engagement photography is just too cool!

This stunning engagement shoot was photographed by the talented Julian Beattie of Kariz-Matik Photography. The sublime location…Boondall Wetlands in Brisbane, Australia {need I even comment on how gorgeous this location is!}. I really do love these engagement photos, not only because this engagement shoot was shot in the middle of mother nature, but because it also manages to be super unique without using props {which we all know can sometimes result in overkill}.

The engagement photo shoot of Lauren and Jeff was photographed by the brilliant Ashley Rose. The shoot started out at Union Station, complete with a vintage suitcase and yummy cupcakes. The shoot then continued at Griffith Park, specifically at the old carousel which Lauren grow up frequenting with her family. These train station engagement photos are perfection…I don’t know about you, but I’m ready to board the train!
