All we can do is shake our heads in wonderment at these wedding shoes. The designs are so simple yet so sleek and modern. A bride who wears a pair of Giuseppe Zanottis to her wedding will definitely not have her feet go unnoticed.

Giuseppe Zanotti was a DJ in the most popular nightclubs in Italy back in the early 1980s. But his passion for art, design, and fashion led him to start following closely the fashion shows in Milan and Paris. Not long after that, he started apprenticing as a freelance designer, and then eventually bought a small shoe factory and hired the best embroiderers to work with him.

The factory was more like a high-end fashion house devoted to women’s shoes, instead of a business that churns out mass-produced goods. Today, Giuseppe Zanotti has opened boutiques in New York, Paris, London, Moscow and Dubai. His inspiration continues to be harmony between fashion and music – a style he calls “naïve rock n’ roll” – the roots of which came from his early days as a DJ.

All you need is a pair of shoes {bridal or non-bridal}, 3mm round flat-back crystals, tweezers, and some strong adhesive. Create a sparkly heel by spreading a thin line of glue horizontally along the bottom of the heel. Pick up one rhinestone at a time with your tweezers and place it on the glue line. Continue this until you have created your first line, then simply repeat up the heel until the heel is completely covered. Note that you’ll have to work fast to ensure strong adhesion and you should give the heels 1-2 days to completely air dry.

These crystal heels are a cinch to make, but if you want to simplify the process even further, you could try using swarovski hot fix rhinestones {crystals with a glue on the back}. In theory these should also work!
