What lovely creations from Jannie Baltzer!

This Danish fashion designer is a self-confessed sucker for weddings. Having graduated from the Scandinavian Academy of International Fashion and Design in Copenhagen, Jannie then received an honorary prize from Her Royal Highness Princess Benedikte for the most creative fashion collection in the country.

Her wedding inspiration comes from eras past: in particular the early 1900s’ French Bohemianism, and the Art Deco movement and the 1920s celebrity glamour of Hollywood. Handcrafted from her studio in Copenhagen, Jannie’s headpieces are made from such luxurious materials as French and Edwardian lace, silk, and soft chiffon.

Kate Beckinsale – If you’re a destination bride who’s going to tie the knot at the beach or if you’re looking for that casual yet uber-stylish look, then big, summery waves may just be the thing. Kim Kardashian – Be the epitome of elegance with a braided bun updo. This is great for a formal wedding, and can be a fantastic accessory in itself to accompany a simple wedding dress. Jennifer Lopez – This is somewhere in between the two hairstyles above—not too laid-back and not too formal—and a very versatile look. The large, voluminous curls help retain that casual feel, while the combed-back side part and glittery hair clip add a polished touch. For an informal wedding, you could replace the clip with an adorable headband or a flower tucked behind the ear.

Gwen Stefani – Forget Gwen’s trademark bright red lipstick and pin-straight blond hair. Rock the sweet, vintage look with curls from the ears down (not from the roots!) and soft pink lips. This is perfect for medium-length hair. The curls have to be just right—not too small or you’ll end up with a strange-looking afro, and not too big that the retro look is lost on you. Simple stud earrings should complement—not compete with—the hairstyle.
