You’re the bride, and you’re the only one who’s allowed to wear white. Right?
Not necessarily! White is becoming a more popular choice these days for bridesmaids, as with Kim Kardashian’s Vera Wang-designed bridesmaids’ dresses. Plus lets not forget about Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge and her sister Pippa Middleton that wore a figure hugging white bridesmaid dress or Kate Moss and her cute bridesmaids that were all dressed up in white.
Why the appeal! White dresses are light, fresh, they provide a blank canvas and they can be very flattering…so long as the cut is right.
If you’re after a chic and minimalist look, white attire for your bridesmaids could be the right choice. And it doesn’t even have to be a summer wedding, white bridesmaids’ dresses are lovely all year round.

The key to getting this look right, is making sure that there’s a significant contrast between the brides wedding dress and the bridesmaid dresses. For instance, if your wearing a long wedding dress then have your bridesmaids wear short dresses. There certainly shouldn’t be any confusion over who the bride is…snap!
