Bahamas Destination Wedding {Nikki + Tom}

We have one world for this wedding – Gorgeous. There’s a gorgeous couple, gorgeous location, gorgeous decor, gorgeous cake and gorgeous wedding pictures.

Light Love Laughter Photography captured these gorgeous wedding pictures and here’s what photographer Tessa had to say about the couples wedding and love story.

“Nikki and Tom were married in a gorgeous beachside wedding in the Bahamas. Fifty-five of their closest friends and family joined for the most celebrated occasion of the year. They’d dated a long time and Nikki had waited for years to finally join hands and become the wife of her best friend. Tears were shared and the party that followed was one for the record books! Despite the rain pouring down outside – at the recommendation of their 7-year-old niece everyone ran outside and danced in the rain. Spontaneous fun creates some of the best memories of life.”

Silver Swan Bayside Wedding {Cindy + Jeff}

We immediately feel in love with this Maryland wedding, when we spotted the stunning couple and the nautical chic vibe. Plus it’s photographed by one of our favourite American photographers, Hendrickson Photography Weddings.

The bride explained the choice of theme and venue, “Jeff and I wanted a theme that reflects who we are as a couple: preppy, classy, and fun. We love being on the water, so we went with ‘nautical chic’. Our ‘must haves’ included a waterfront venue, live band, and great food. Most importantly, we wanted to make sure that our guests would have a great time. We fell in love with the waterfront Silver Swan Bayside and booked it right away.”

The couple also chose a fun nautical colour scheme and included loads of nautical wedding details. Cindy explained “Our colours were navy, white, and a touch of yellow. Jeff and the groomsmen looked the part in their Vineyard Vines ties, Navy blazers, and Sperry Topsiders. I wore Priscilla of Boston {which I customized during alterations}, and my bridesmaids wore JCrew dresses.”

Cindy says “We picked ‘white and fluffy’ flowers, and used mason jars for a rustic nautical touch. We carried our ‘white and fluffy’ look through to our cake; a lemon coconut cake covered in fluffy white buttercream icing and coconut shavings. To make the reception a little more personal and fun we created a navy/white/yellow candy bar, got custom coozies, and a photo booth.”
