Sapphires are pure perfection and make for completely appropriate engagement stones, after all they’re good enough for the royal family. The Queen Mother, Queen Elizabeth, Princess Anne, Princess Diana, and Kate Middleton all received sapphire engagement rings.

Below are some of our favorite natural sapphires. First up, we love a natural white sapphire, which offers the same classic diamond engagement ring look, but at a fraction of the price.

Second, we adore a stunning natural yellow sapphire, which has become massively popular because it closely resembles a canary diamond.

Lastly, we definitely fancy a pretty pink sapphire.
